Now the door was painted blue by me. It was wood as well, but I had to break up the monotone somehow. So the debate was on. Should I do navy and cream. Make it patriotic or should I do grey and stark white to accent the trim? So many questions and plenty of years of debating.
Finally the water heater was replaced, the window was right in the kitchen, a new roof, and a new HVAC were all unexpected projects. Finally time to give the exterior love. Instead of looking like it was needing to be rebuilt, it looked like a home with a future outlook. Here it is...
Paint is one of the cheapest fixes for updating an exterior and man did it freshen up our home. I’m thankful for the memories made and the lessons learned from a first home. Some which I’ll share here. What have you changed with a can of paint?
