My previous home looked like a cabin in the woods. But when I walked in and saw the amazing clear story, the home was screaming for a contemporary twist. It took 6 years before the exterior got the uplift that it needed. We bought the home at a lower than market value because it needed major work, but the closet space was great! Let’s face it...storage is vital in a house with kids. I hate cookie cutter homes and neighborhoods where you have to describe your house as the twentieth home on the left because they all are the same. It was wood as well, but I had to break up the monotone somehow. So the debate was on. Should I do navy and cream. Make it patriotic or should I do grey and stark white to accent the trim?
